Stairlift Savvy (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website stairliftsavvy.co.uk. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Stairlift Savvy is operated by East Riding Ltd, a UK company registered in England (Company No. 10350135, VAT No. GB 258 4156 86), with registered address Goole, DN14 5DZ. East Riding Ltd is the data controller for the personal data collected through stairliftsavvy.co.uk.

Stairlift Savvy is an independent UK guide to home stairlifts — we provide information, quote estimates, and optional referrals to UK installers. We are not a stairlift manufacturer, retailer, or installer.

What data we collect

Information you give us: when you use the self-quote tool, you provide stair measurements (width, length, number of steps, rise, going). If you request a PDF copy of your quote or ask to be connected to a UK installer, you provide your name, email address, postcode, and phone number (if supplied).

Information collected automatically: when you visit the site, we collect your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on page, and referring website. We do this via cookies and analytics tools — primarily Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

Cookies: we use cookies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can disable or restrict cookies in your browser settings. Some site functionality may not work fully if cookies are disabled.

How we use your data

We use the data you provide to:

• Calculate and deliver your stairlift quote
• Send PDF copies of quotes when requested

We only share your quote details with a UK installer when you have explicitly requested a connection. We do not sell your data to third parties.

How long we keep your data

• Quote requests: 24 months, unless you request earlier deletion
• Anonymous analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default)
• Contact form messages: kept until resolved, plus 12 months
